In this Unit we will discuss Superstitions, Habits and Weddings. We will talk about romance, rituals both past and present and we will examine "will", "would" and "used to" for present and past habits. We will also look at writing a letter of complaint.

What is the difference between - "When I was a child, I used to play with toys" and "When I was a child, I would play with toys"?

Gerunds & Infinitives

 

Before we looked at verbs that are followed by Gerunds or Infinitives. There is a group of verbs that can be followed by both but which have different meanings.
