Unit 1
This week we will look at Memory and Language. We will look at how to memory techniques and giving personal information. We will also look at Question Forms and review Tenses.
Unit 2
This week we will look at Hometowns and Holidays. We will look at adjectives to describe places and linking sentences. We will also look at Countable and Uncountable Nouns and the difference between "so" and "such".
Unit 3
This week we will look at Relationships and Stories. We will see how to tell a story. We will also look at the Past Simple and the Past Continuous. We will also examine Adverbs of Manner, the verb "get" and "ed" and "ing" Adjectives.
Unit 4
This week we will look at Clothes and Shopping. We will also see phrases for clothes shopping and fashion. We will also look at Adverbs of Frequency, Gerunds and Infinitives.
Unit 5
This week we will look at Sport and Health. We will look at giving instructions and how to reduce stress. We will also look at Comparatives and Superlatives and Phrasal Verbs
Unit 6
This week we will look at Work and Experience. We will see how to write a letter of enquiry and talk about work experience. We will also look at Modal Verbs for Permission and Obligation, the difference between Present Perfect and Simple Past.
Unit 8
This week we will look at School and Family. We will see how to write a personal letter and talk about subjects in school and social change. We will also look at Modal Verbs in the Past andModal Verbs for Advice.
Unit 7
This week we will talk about The Environment and the Volunteering. We will look at writing a report and describing the weather. We will also look at Subject Questions and Future Forms.
Unit 9
This week we will talk about Character. We will see body idioms and how to describe character. We will also examine Gerunds and Infinitives, the Present Perfect Simple and the Present Perfect Continuous and Prepositions.
Unit 10
This week we will talk about Lifestyle, Cars, Food and Health. We will see how to describe recipes, cars and talk about personal health. We will also look at Future Clauses with "if", "when", "as soon as" and "used to".
Unit 11
This week we will talk about Animals and Pets. We will look at moral questions, polite requestsand how to give opinions. We will also examine Relative Clauses and Unreal Conditionals.
Unit 12
This week we will talk about the Weather, Coincidences and Buildings. We will look at describing buildings and collocations. We will also examine the Past Perfect, the Passive and using Modal verbs for Future Possibility.
