How inequality creates not just envy, but political instability, and other problems.

 

A certain amount of inequality may be be good as it gives people reasons to believe that hard work can be rewarded by wealth; if everyone was merely entitled to the same resources, rights, privileges, people might be de-incentivised to develop in ways that lead to real growith.  However, how much inequality should be tolerated?  At what point does inequality become so extreme as to become morally unjust?
