Syllabus (Module Outline)

 

Homework:

You will prepare four speaking activities about topics you have learned about in other modules such as personal Development 

 

Exam:

You will complet some practice tests (3) and a Final Test based on the IELTS Exam

 

 

Unit 1

In this Unit we will look at the Present Simple & Continuous and also the Past Simple. We will look at the vocabulary of describing people and verbs of movement.

Unit 3

In this Unit we will look at the Comparatives & Adjectives with Prepositions. We will look at the vocabulary of sports and "ed" & "ing" adjectives.

Speaking: Part 1,2,3

Unit 2

In this Unit we will look at the Past Simple & Present Perfect.  We will also look at Adverbs of Frequency and Past Habit. We will look at the qualifying adjectives and verbs of cause and effect.

Unit 4

In this Unit we will look at the Countable & Uncountable Nouns. We will look at the suggestions and developing ideas with adjectives.

Unit 5

In this Unit we will look at the Future Structures. We will look at the verbs of prediction andadjective/noun collocations.

In this Unit we will look at the Transitive and Intransitive Verbs. We will look at conversationand describing sequence.

In this Unit we will look at the First Conditional. We will look at the vocabulary of work andcollocations.

In this Unit we will look at the Referring in a text. We will look at nouns relating to places andverbs relating to changes in maps.

In this Unit we will look at the Modal Verbs. We will look at the vocabulary of beauty and prefixes.

In this Unit we will look at the Defing and Non-Defining Relative Clauses. We will look at the vocabulary of art.

Unit 11  

In this Unit we will look at the Conditionals. We will look at the vocabulary of family and suffixes.
